  • Vanilla Powder1 pack
  • Flour1/4 cup
  • Butter1/2 tablespoon

  • Pour 5 cups of cold milk into a wide saucepan. After adding 1/4 cup of flour, 3 tablespoons of wheat starch and 1 cup of sugar, turn on the stove. Cook it by stirring intermittently, till the mixture has a nice thick texture.

  • Turn the stove off. Immediately, when it is still hot, add 1/2 tablespoon of butter and 1 pack of vanilla powder and whip the mixture.

  • Pour the mixture into servings and let them cool briefly.

  • Serve Muhallebi to your beloved ones after decorating with grinded pistachios.


Alternative Recommendation For Cooking

After preparing Muhallebi basically, you may put some aroma by adding vanilla or mastic gum. Also to give some colour and texture, you may add 1 egg yolk.
